Our verdict on Daily
Daily is an iPhone task-planning app for people who want AI to organize personal and work tasks into actionable daily plans. Users can type or speak tasks in natural language, while the app handles categorization, scheduling, reminders, subtasks, and Spaces for grouping work. It also supports goal-oriented planning with daily steps, habit and routine tracking, and use cases including school, fitness, errands, self-care, travel, and work.
The planning workflow is the standout feature. Daily can create, update, and delete tasks through AI, support AI chat, and adapt plans when circumstances change. That makes it a fit for users whose days shift frequently or who prefer describing intended outcomes instead of manually structuring every task. Goals can be translated into daily steps, while automatic scheduling and reminders provide a more guided approach than a basic task list. Users wanting a simple checklist without AI-managed planning may find this broader workflow unnecessary.
Daily connects with Google Calendar and Apple Calendar, giving its mobile planning experience access to existing calendar commitments. The published plans are Daily Pro Weekly and Daily Pro Yearly, and both include unlimited AI planning. There is a seven-day free trial, but no free plan. The app is documented for iOS, with email support, and is positioned for solo and small-scale personal use rather than a broad team workspace. Choose Daily if you want an iPhone-first planner that combines natural-language capture, calendars, goals, routines, and adaptive scheduling; choose an alternative if you need other mobile platforms or a free ongoing tier.
