Dabble is a writing application for novelists and fiction authors, combining a manuscript editor organized around books, chapters, and scenes with planning and drafting tools. Its Plot Grid, character profiles, story notebook, focus mode, and word-count goals support writers working through a long-form fiction project. Co-authoring features also make it relevant to novelists sharing drafts and suggestions. The Ideas notebook is free forever, while full writing projects require a subscription or an active trial.
The plans are priced monthly at $19 for Writer, $29 for Author, and $49 for Bestseller. Writer includes unlimited manuscripts, cloud backup and sync, goals and stats, Plot Grid, co-authoring, and versioning. Author adds text highlighting, comments, tracked changes, advanced grammar and style checks, and Read-to-Me. Bestseller includes those Author features plus DabbleU Academy courses, live monthly workshops, exclusive courses, and community and events.
