A capable free option for centralized, on-premises multi-site Wi-Fi management.

D-Link Nuclias Connect is free wireless network management software for businesses that need centralized administration of compatible access points and switches. It is aimed at small-to-large businesses, retail chains, universities, hotels, and organizations that want to keep network data under their control. Deployment can be on-premises, through a private cloud service, or with the optional DNH-100 hardware controller. Web, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android access support administration across desktop and mobile environments.
The Free plan includes centralized wireless network management, remote and batch configuration, traffic reporting and analytics, plus multi-site and role-based administration. Its operational scope extends to AP discovery, batch provisioning, fast roaming across managed access points, searchable event and change logs, customizable captive portals, and guest Wi-Fi networks. The platform is positioned for license-free management of up to 1,000 APs, while another product-page section describes expansion to up to 1,500 APs. That makes the published capacity especially relevant for organizations managing multiple locations.
Nuclias Connect also connects with Google Maps, PayPal, RADIUS, LDAP, Active Directory, POP3, and 802.1X. Its on-premises model suits teams that want local control of network data, while the available mobile administration supports remote oversight. However, the platform lacks verified zero-touch provisioning and API access, which can matter for highly automated network operations. Choose it for free centralized management, multi-site administration, guest access, analytics, and roaming across compatible infrastructure. Organizations prioritizing automated provisioning or programmatic integration should consider whether those capabilities are essential before selecting it.
