Cybertrust Japan sells SSL/TLS certificates for websites and online services. Its current certificate offer is branded iTrust, while SecureSign appears in the vendor's certificate authority materials. The range is aimed at Japanese organizations that need OV or EV validation and manage certificates across multiple domains or subdomains. It can suit small, mid-market, and enterprise buyers seeking web-based management or API workflows, rather than buyers looking for a free certificate plan.

Certificate choice centers on validation and domain coverage: the range includes OV- and EV-validated certificates, wildcard certificates, and multi-domain certificates that allow SAN domains to be added. A free www SAN option and certificate reissuance are also listed. The maximum is 149 SAN domains. The vendor's notes say certificates have six-month validity periods; the listed entry price is ¥36,900, tax excluded, for six months. That makes it important to compare renewal cadence as well as domain coverage when assessing cost.

Automation is the strongest differentiator for teams with repeatable certificate workflows. SureHandsOn ACME automates application, retrieval, and installation, while API requests support issuance and revocation. SureBoard and SureHandsOn provide web services for issuance, with documentation and email listed as support channels. One qualification matters for procurement: Cybertrust Japan says it is currently providing SECOM Trust certificates as an interim measure while preparing updated intermediate CA certificates. Buyers who need current CA arrangements clarified should review that status with the vendor; those who value ACME and API-based lifecycle operations alongside OV/EV coverage are the clearer fit.
