CyberLink Power2Go review
A broad Windows disc-authoring suite with useful recovery-media tools but limited ISO editing.

CyberLink Power2Go is Windows desktop software for burning data, music, video, and disc-image files to CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs. It is aimed at people who need one application for optical media authoring, ISO handling, Windows recovery media, system backup, and media conversion. Alongside disc burning, it authors DVD, Blu-ray, and AVCHD movie discs, creates encrypted optical discs, and converts video and audio files for mobile devices. The current product line includes Power2Go 13, with an Essential download and a paid Platinum edition.
Its strongest fit is breadth around physical media and recovery workflows. Power2Go can mount disc images as virtual drives, view and browse ISO contents, and burn ISO, P2I, and RDF images. It also creates bootable Windows recovery discs and USB drives, giving Windows users a way to combine everyday disc authoring with recovery-media creation. For buyers who need movie-disc authoring, encrypted CDs, DVDs, or Blu-ray discs, and image burning in the same desktop application, that range is more useful than a narrowly focused disc burner.
The trade-off is that Power2Go is not positioned as an ISO editing tool: the listed category specifications mark image editing as false. That matters for users who need to modify an existing ISO rather than inspect, mount, or burn it. Platform fit is also narrow because the supported operating system is Windows. Choose Power2Go if Windows disc creation, movie authoring, image burning, or bootable recovery media are the priority. Choose a different product if cross-platform support or verified ISO creation and editing are central requirements.
