The web tool supports walls up to 16×16 maps and produces exact 128×128-pixel map tiles for Java singleplayer worlds or servers with world-folder access.
Its output package is designed to cover the practical installation steps. CraftMC generates map_*.dat and idcounts.dat files, plus map give commands, tile previews, a layout, and README instructions. Image fitting, smooth gradients, transparency, and background settings provide control over how an image is prepared before conversion. The generator uses Java map color IDs with four brightness shades, making its workflow suited to Minecraft’s fixed map-color system rather than a custom palette workflow.
