Our verdict on Cool Text

Cool Text is a free, browser-based graphics generator for individuals and small projects that need text-based logos or decorative images. Users can choose from categorized logo and text styles, enter wording, select fonts, adjust text and shadow settings, define custom dimensions, add backgrounds, and download the resulting graphics. The editor also supports symbols, image layers, composite designs, and multiple logo styles, giving users more control than a simple text-only generator.

Pricing is straightforward: Cool Text is free, with free on-demand graphics generation and no paid plan structure described. That makes it suitable for occasional logo work, personal projects, and small initiatives that want to create graphics without a subscription. The published feature set includes access to 1,959 free fonts, along with controls for text size, color, alignment, shadows, background color, and background images. Custom width and height fields are also available when a preset canvas does not fit the intended graphic.

The main trade-off is focus. Cool Text centers on styled text, layered elements, and downloadable graphics rather than a broader design workflow. Its web-only format suits users who want to work in a browser, while those seeking a more expansive platform may prefer a tool built around wider design production or brand management needs. Pick Cool Text for free, text-led logo creation with font variety and adjustable layers; choose an alternative if your priority is a broader design environment rather than on-demand graphics generation.
