Our verdict on Convertigo
Convertigo is an open-source full-stack low-code and no-code platform for building and integrating web, mobile, desktop, and business applications. It combines a No Code Studio for business teams, a Low Code Studio for professional developers, and a backend engine for connectors, APIs, workflows, automation, and offline synchronization. Its scope suits organizations that need application development across web, iOS, Android, APIs, and self-hosted environments rather than a narrowly focused app builder.
The plan structure gives teams a free starting point through Community Edition, which includes unlimited apps, front-end and back-end low-code, community support, SQL connectivity, on-premises installation, and Android APK, iOS IPA, and PWA generation. Starter Edition costs €15 per user per month and adds No Code Studio, a 99.5% uptime guarantee, 9/5 support with a service-level agreement, LDAP, OAuth, OpenID, offline data, NoSQL, and either on-premises or managed cloud installation. Enterprise Edition costs €20 per user per month and adds a dedicated customer success manager, DevOps integration, billing and analytics, RPA connectors, unlimited environments, and SAP BAPI connectors.
Convertigo stands out for breadth and deployment flexibility. It connects with REST, SOAP, SQL, NoSQL, IBM 3270, IBM 5250, SAP BAPI, Google Drive, Kafka, ChatGPT, and Mistral AI, while role-based administration and permissions support controlled access. FullSync provides offline data synchronization, and the platform covers backend logic, sequences, microservices, and workflow automation. Choose Convertigo when open source, self-hosting, mobile generation, legacy connectivity, and broad application coverage matter. Teams seeking a narrowly focused builder or a simpler plan structure may prefer a more limited platform.
