COMMITLY is a web-based cash-flow platform with an optional Bills add-on for incoming-invoice management. It captures invoices from uploads or email, extracts key data, routes documents through approval policies and supports payment preparation or accounting exports. Its audience includes freelancers, small businesses, growing teams, multi-company groups and larger organizations with more complex financial structures. European finance teams are the clearest fit, particularly those working with SEPA payments and regional accounting platforms.

Pricing is structured around COMMITLY plans and the Bills add-on. The Basis plan costs €55 per month and includes one company, one online account, one user, rolling forecasts, and reports and dashboards. Business costs €105 per month and adds five online accounts, three users, roles, rights and comments, a direct API, and Support Center/chat. Professional costs €195 per month and includes three companies, ten online accounts, five users, consolidation, and Support Center/chat/phone. The invoice-approval capability is an add-on, shown at €12 per month, while approval policies are included in Professional and Enterprise and available as a Business add-on. A 14-day free trial is available.

The strongest case for COMMITLY is workflow depth. Policies can use labels, departments, suppliers, amounts, thresholds and designated users, with single-user, group, sequential and parallel approvals available. OCR, comments, annotations and an activity log with users, timestamps and change values support review and accountability. Integrations cover DATEV, lexoffice, sevDesk, weclapp, BuchhaltungsButler, FastBill, billomat, easybill, GetMyInvoices, Zoho and moco, plus REST API, MCP Server, Zapier and Make. Choose it when approval control, accounting connectivity and payment exports matter together. Teams seeking a free tool or a simpler approval-only product may prefer a narrower alternative.
