Teams can use its APIs and client SDKs to build custom storefronts and commerce applications across web and API environments.
Its strongest fit is a composable ecosystem strategy. The platform provides a Connect runtime for deploying integrations and extensions, plus marketplace support and named integrations including Klaviyo, Mollie, and NewStore. Payment-service-provider integrations are handled through Connect, while inventory can be tracked across supply channels and locations, with reservations during cart and checkout flows. This combination gives enterprise teams room to connect commerce services rather than depend on a single storefront model. Hosted checkout supports complete-checkout and payment-only modes, and the platform also includes AI features.
