CoGroAccounting review
A focused close platform for small companies that do not need ERP connectivity.

CoGroAccounting is a web-based accounting operations platform for finance and accounting teams at small and growing companies. Its core workflows cover month-end close checklists, task assignments, due dates, status tracking, bank reconciliations, policy and controls management, secure file sharing, audit trails, sign-offs, CRM, analytics, and an AI assistant. The product is designed for lean teams that want structured close processes in a standalone platform rather than through native ERP connections.
The published plans show a 60-day Free Trial with full access to every feature, unlimited closes and tasks, all modules, AI assistant access, and no credit card requirement. CoGroAccounting Pro costs $79 per company per month, with a separate per-user monthly charge, and adds the documented close, reconciliation, controls, secure file portal, CRM and analytics, and audit trail modules. Enterprise plans are available for larger teams. This structure gives smaller finance teams a way to evaluate the full product before moving to a paid monthly subscription.
Its strongest fit is operational control: teams can organize close work in table, Kanban, or calendar views; track reconciliation variances; version policies; route approvals; and maintain searchable sign-offs. Secure portals add password protection, expiry dates, and access logging, while the AI assistant supports policy drafting and variance analysis. The trade-off is ecosystem breadth. CoGroAccounting operates as a standalone web platform, with ERP integrations described as a roadmap item, and it does not support multi-entity close. Choose it for basic close discipline, documentation, and approvals in a small company; consider an alternative if native ERP connectivity or multi-entity workflows are central requirements.
