Coda provides Merchant of Record infrastructure for digital publishers, app developers, game studios, and other digital businesses. It can act as the contractual seller for qualifying transactions while covering payment processing, localized checkout, VAT/GST calculation and remittance, fraud controls, chargebacks, settlement, reporting, and digital delivery. The platform is available through web and API access, with recurring payments and subscription billing for businesses that sell digital products or services globally.
Its strongest fit is payment and commerce breadth. Codapay includes payment processing, 400+ payment methods, and tax and compliance support. Webstore adds a branded direct-to-consumer storefront, while Distribution connects businesses with a network of 150+ distribution partners. Checkout can be hosted, embedded, or API-based, and localized flows support market-specific currencies and payment methods. Sandbox testing, transaction reporting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and digital item delivery round out the operational toolkit.
