Cocktail is a general-purpose macOS utility for individual Mac users, households, educational institutions, and organizations managing Mac computers. Its toolkit covers cache and log-file clearing, user-permission repair, system and application database rebuilding, Spotlight indexing management, Time Machine settings and snapshot management, network configuration, and system-interface customization. The desktop app also includes Pilot mode for one-click maintenance and scheduled cache and log clearing, giving it a broader remit than a utility focused only on junk cleanup.

Pricing is structured around one-time licenses. The Single User License costs $29 for one computer. The $59 Family License covers up to five computers for household use only, while the $139 Ten-Pack License covers up to ten computers. Organizations can choose the $399 Business License, which covers up to one hundred computers in the organization. There is no free plan, and the unregistered demo expires after the fifth launch. This model suits buyers who prefer a one-time purchase and need coverage for more than one Mac, particularly households and teams.

Cocktail’s main strength is breadth within Mac maintenance and system customization. It brings cleanup, permissions, databases, Spotlight, Time Machine, networking, Finder, Dock, login-window, and other interface preferences into one application. That range makes it a good fit for users who want centralized control over varied maintenance tasks rather than a narrowly focused cleaner. It is less suitable for mixed-platform environments or buyers seeking broader PC optimization coverage: the product supports macOS, does not provide driver updates, has no restore-point functionality, and does not include a startup manager. Choose Cocktail for Mac-focused maintenance and customization; consider an alternative when Windows support or those specific system-management capabilities are essential.
