Cloudflare Access is a cloud-delivered zero trust network access service for employees, contractors, and other users. It applies identity, device posture, and contextual policies to self-hosted, SaaS, private-network, and infrastructure applications. Access supports client-based and clientless methods, including browser access for web applications and selected SSH, RDP, and VNC applications. Its platform coverage spans web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and API environments, making it a fit for organizations managing varied users, devices, and application types.

Pricing is structured around three plans. The Free Plan includes access controls within the Zero Trust platform. Pay-as-you-go costs $7 per user per month with annual billing and adds the same access controls while being positioned for teams over 50 users. The Contract Plan offers custom pricing and maximum support. This structure gives smaller or evaluating teams a no-cost entry point, while the paid entry tier keeps the published starting price direct. Organizations seeking maximum support should assess the Contract Plan rather than treating the $7 tier as the full commercial offering.

Access has a broad control and integration set for a cloud ZTNA service. Identity-aware policies cover self-hosted, SaaS, and non-web applications; infrastructure policies can account for protocol and username; and Cloudflare Tunnel provides application connectors for private resources. SAML and OIDC integrations support application authentication, while Cloudflare One Client and third-party providers including CrowdStrike, Kolide, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, SentinelOne, Tanium, Uptycs, and Workspace ONE support device posture checks. Per-request audit logs and Logpush export support SIEM or storage destinations. Choose Access for broad access methods and policy coverage; consider alternatives when session recording or fewer browser access constraints are essential.

    • Contract-plan pricing is custom rather than published
