ClockOn is workforce-management software for Australian businesses that need employee rostering, time and attendance, payroll, HR records and compliance workflows in one system. It suits teams in retail, healthcare, hospitality, pharmacy and grocery, with tools for managers and employees across web, Windows, iOS and Android. Managers can create schedules, assign staff by role or qualification, publish shifts and monitor labour costs. Employees can view rosters, clock in through mobile devices, request leave and access payslips through ClockOn GO.
The published plans show several ways to structure the service. ClockOn Pro combines rostering and labour planning with time and attendance, a mobile app and manager portal, payroll, STP and award interpretation, plus HR records and document storage. Standard includes five employees, payroll and STP, award interpretation, time tracking and a mobile app, with additional employees available separately. The Starter Package is free for eligible new businesses and includes basic payroll and STP for up to 12 months or 27 STP submissions. Teams should compare which plan and feature options cover their roster, payroll and HR requirements before choosing.
Scheduling depth is the clearest strength. The drag-and-drop roster builder, reusable templates, availability and leave conflict checking, role and qualification rules, open-shift broadcasting, GPS clock-in and geofencing give managers practical control over daily operations. Leave requests and approvals extend the workflow beyond shift creation, while payroll integrations can connect approved hours with systems including Xero, MYOB, Flare, Beam, SAFF exports, Sage MicrOpay and Pronto. ClockOn is a strong fit for Australian teams that want scheduling tied to payroll and attendance. Organisations seeking algorithmic automatic scheduling or a narrower, simpler roster tool should consider alternatives.
