Clickmap is an open-source, self-hosted web application for website behavior analysis. It is designed for website owners, freelancers, agencies, and small teams that want click heatmaps and session recordings without per-session cloud pricing. A single script tag collects click and scroll data, while the web application presents click heatmaps by URL, device, and date range alongside scroll-depth charts organized by 10% page folds. Mobile capture, session replay, and rage-click detection are included in the product’s feature set.
The main appeal is control over data and deployment. Clickmap stores information in SQLite on infrastructure controlled by the customer, and it supports both client-side and server-side sampling. DNT/GPC handling and element exclusion provide additional privacy controls. Replay uses cursor, click, and scroll events, with recording filters, replay controls, and variable speed. This makes Clickmap a practical fit for teams that want a focused view of website behavior while keeping storage under their own control. The trade-off is that self-hosting places infrastructure responsibility with the customer.
The published plans show a free plan and paid options beginning at $12 per month. The Monthly plan provides a self-hosted web application for $12 per month; the Yearly plan costs $120 per year and includes two months free according to the pricing page; and the Lifetime plan costs $258 as a one-time payment for a permanent license. Clickmap suits buyers who prioritize open-source software, simple heatmaps, replay, and customer-controlled storage. Buyers seeking a broader analytics platform or a managed cloud service should consider a different category fit.
