Check Point Harmony SASE, currently branded Check Point SASE, is a cloud-delivered Secure Access Service Edge platform for enterprises. It brings Zero Trust Private Access, Internet Access, SaaS Security, SD-WAN, and Enterprise Browser capabilities into one management platform. The product is designed for mature organizations that need identity-based access to private applications, controls for web and SaaS use, device posture checks, and protection for users on managed or unmanaged devices. Desktop and mobile agents, web access, and a Chrome extension support a broad endpoint mix.
Its main strength is breadth across the enterprise security stack. Identity-centric policies control access to private resources on a per-application basis, while posture checks cover managed and unmanaged devices. The Enterprise Browser provides isolated browsing sessions, and data loss prevention applies to web and GenAI applications. Web and DNS filtering add malware protection, while SaaS application control includes tenant restrictions and posture management. Centralized administration and security event monitoring give security teams a common operating layer, and SD-WAN routing includes link-health steering and sub-second failover.
This scope makes Check Point SASE a fit for enterprises consolidating secure access, browser protection, SaaS governance, and network optimization. It is less suited to organizations seeking only a lightweight enterprise browser or a narrowly focused browsing control. The contact-sales pricing model also makes the buying process less direct than a self-serve product. Teams should choose it when identity, DLP, private application access, endpoint posture, and SD-WAN belong in the same program; browser-only buyers may prefer a more focused category option.
