Cavisson NetStorm is an enterprise performance-testing and capacity-analysis solution for QA, performance engineering, and development teams. It is designed for organizations that need to recreate internet-scale traffic, model web and mobile behavior, and evaluate client-perceived response times across browser, API, database, messaging, and other enterprise technologies. Its scope covers load, stress, browser, distributed-load, and API testing, with support for millions of concurrent users and multiple workload models.

The product’s standout capability is breadth in traffic and network simulation. Teams can model user-arrival rates or concurrent users, simulate reloads and click-aways, run real-browser and client-side performance tests, and recreate production scenarios through access-log replay. WAN simulation includes packet delay, loss, reordering, and duplication. NetStorm also supports REST, SOAP, HTTP, WebSocket, databases, and enterprise protocols, making it suited to complex environments where a single application or protocol is not the whole performance picture.

Analysis and delivery workflows are another important consideration. Goal-based scenario design, SLA-oriented analysis, performance dashboards, reporting, trend analysis, and release comparison support capacity planning and ongoing performance review. Jenkins integration connects the product with a continuous-delivery workflow. Pricing is handled through contact with sales, and the deployment model is on-premise. Enterprises with controlled infrastructure and demanding traffic-recreation requirements should consider NetStorm; teams seeking a self-serve cloud service, broader listed integrations, or a simpler scheduling-oriented tool should look elsewhere.
