Our verdict on CarbonAnalytics

CarbonAnalytics is a cloud carbon accounting platform for organizations measuring, analyzing, reporting and reducing greenhouse-gas emissions. It covers Scope 1, Scope 2 and all 15 Scope 3 categories, combining emissions tracking with automated data collection, factor mapping, supplier engagement, dashboards, hotspot analysis and compliance reporting. The product is aimed at businesses of different sizes, with plans for small businesses, growing companies, larger organizations and enterprises. It is available through the web and API, with a 14-day free trial.

Pricing is structured by business unit and billing period. Starter costs £69.99 per business unit per month or £671.99 per business unit per year, with full Scope 1–3 coverage, a shared emissions factors database, API access, CSV/Excel export, basic automation and email support. Pro costs £299 monthly or £2,699 annually and adds advanced automation and workflows, priority support and guided onboarding. Growth costs £799 per month and adds priority support with dedicated help, guided onboarding and training, and SLA guarantees. Growth and Enterprise include full Scope 1–3 coverage, while Enterprise adds unlimited suppliers, unlimited users, custom emissions factors, a dedicated account manager and SLAs.

Its ecosystem fit is a clear strength for organizations consolidating operational data. CarbonAnalytics lists integrations with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, CDP, EcoVadis and Sustainalytics, alongside ERP systems, T&E platforms, procurement systems and logistics providers. The supplier engagement portal and automated outreach extend coverage beyond internal activity, while RESTful API access and CSV/Excel export support data exchange. Organizations needing all Scope 3 categories, supplier workflows and broad integration options should consider CarbonAnalytics. Teams seeking advanced automation, onboarding or service commitments should look beyond Starter.
