Capitova review
A deep fixed-asset platform for multinational book, tax and lease accounting.

Capitova is an on-premise fixed-asset depreciation platform for Australian and multinational enterprises. It normalizes asset data from SAP PM, IBM Maximo, ServiceNow, files, databases and APIs, then calculates book, tax, deferred-tax, lease and disposal schedules. The product is aimed at accounting teams that need more than a basic asset register, particularly organizations managing multiple books, tax treatments, jurisdictions and ERP posting requirements.
The published plans are structured around deployment scope. Design Partner covers one entity or asset class, parallel running against the current process and reconciliation against actuals, with the pilot fee credited to the licence on conversion. Single Entity adds an annual on-premise licence, Australian AASB and ATO support, tax-versus-book reconciliation, approval gates, audit trails and ERP posting. Multinational adds a multi-book engine, local GAAP, IFRS and local tax across 16 jurisdictions, IAS 21 currency consolidation and per-country fiscal calendars. Pricing is contact sales, so teams should expect a sales-led buying process rather than self-serve checkout.
Integration breadth is a central strength. Capitova supports Excel/CSV, XML/JSON, SFTP, REST API and SQL databases, alongside Xero, QuickBooks Online, SAP, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle NetSuite, Oracle EBS and MYOB. Its feature set includes several depreciation methods, a custom depreciation formula engine, AASB 112 deferred-tax journals, AASB 116 disposals, AASB 16 lease accounting, seven-year audit trails and balanced journal posting. Choose Capitova when accounting control, tax reconciliation and multinational rules are priorities. Organizations seeking a simpler, cloud-first asset tracker may find its on-premise model and accounting depth unnecessary.
