CakeResume, now branded Cake, is a web-based resume builder and career platform for job seekers. Its resume tools combine editable templates, AI writing suggestions, ATS-oriented formatting, and job-description-based checking. The product also supports portfolios and multimedia content, so it can suit people who want a resume and work samples in one shareable profile. It is less suited to buyers who need a desktop or mobile app, as the listed platform is web only.
The resume workflow is broader than template editing alone. Users can drag and drop content, use more than 50 professional templates, download a resume as a PDF, or share it through a link. The AI Resume Checker compares a resume with a job description, suggests improvements, and can generate optimized resumes and cover letters. Resume privacy settings and visitor tracking add options for managing and monitoring shared profiles; Google Analytics resume tracking is included in the Premium plans.
