BurnAware is Windows desktop software for burning data, audio, video, and Blu-ray discs, as well as creating and burning ISO images. It is aimed at personal users who need disc authoring, image management, bootable media, or multisession work without starting with a paid license. The Free edition covers personal use and includes data, audio, and video disc burning, ISO creation and burning, bootable discs and boot ISO images, image extraction, command-line tools, byte-by-byte disc verification, and recovery from damaged or unreadable discs.

The paid editions mainly expand copying, conversion, recovery, extraction, and licensing options. Premium costs $29.95 one-time and adds disc spanning and copying plus a video DVD converter. Professional costs $39.95 one-time and adds data recovery, an audio grabber, a multiburn tool for ISO images, and business use. A Business License includes a multi-user license, a pre-activated version, and customizable options. The download page states a 7-day trial, and the published pricing structure keeps ISO creation and burning available in the Free edition.

Its feature set is broader than a basic ISO writer: BurnAware can copy discs to ISO, BIN, and CUE files, extract files from ISO images, create bootable media, and work with multisession discs and disc spanning. Command-line burning tools also support users who need automation alongside a desktop interface. Choose BurnAware if you want a Windows-focused disc utility with a substantial free tier and optional one-time paid upgrades. Consider another product if you need support beyond Windows or prefer a service designed around a broader operating-system ecosystem.
