Bukku is a cloud accounting and invoicing service for Malaysian small and medium businesses, including business owners and accountants. It brings sales, purchases, expenses, inventory, reconciliation and financial reporting into one product, with LHDN e-invoice submission to MyInvois. Its free Launch tier centers on invoicing and sales, while accounting features build across paid tiers. That makes it a fit for firms that want invoicing first and may need fuller bookkeeping and stock controls as their operations grow.

The published plans show a 30-day Elite free trial and a free invoicing tier; pricing is in Malaysian ringgit and excludes 8% SST. Seed adds basic accounting, purchase tracking, single-location inventory, SmartRecon, a fixed-asset register and 50+ basic financial reports. Grow includes those features plus advanced reports, invoice reminders, basic recurring transactions, monthly statements and multiple units of measure. Prime adds Malaysia SST support, multiple currencies and locations, price levels and advanced recurring transactions. The progression is useful for buyers comparing needs, though multi-location inventory and currency handling sit at the top tier.

For firms whose daily work crosses sales channels or payroll systems, Bukku lists integrations with Shopee, Lazada, Talenox, PayrollPanda, Kakitangan and MySyarikat, alongside an open API. The service is web-based, and its feature set also includes email and WhatsApp invoice sharing, payment gateway integrations, stock costing and automated fixed-asset depreciation. Email, phone and chat are listed as support channels. Its Malaysia-specific e-invoice and SST capabilities are central strengths for local businesses, but companies that do not need those workflows—or that need accounting tailored to another jurisdiction—may prefer a different product. Bukku is most suited to small firms seeking Malaysian invoicing, accounting and inventory in one cloud service.

  • Where it doesn't
    • Advanced capabilities are split across paid accounting tiers
    • Inventory across multiple locations is limited to Prime
    • Malaysia-focused compliance may not suit businesses elsewhere
