BuildFair is a web-based payment custody and workflow platform for Australian residential construction. It brings owners, builders, subcontractors and suppliers into shared project dashboards, with project funds held in regulated custody with Kobble. The platform covers milestone and progress claims, invoice submission and approval, scheduled payment releases, payment tracking, document uploads, variations and defect tracking. Owners can join at no extra cost, while paid options serve subcontractors and builders with different workflow requirements.
Pricing separates access by project role. The Subcontractor plan costs $250 per month or $2,500 per year and includes project visibility, payment processing, audit trails, invoice submission, payment tracking and document uploads. Builder Tier 1 costs $300 per month or $3,000 per year, adding subcontractor and supplier management, invoice approval workflows, progress payment schedules, bank reconciliation, variation and defect tracking, and compliance exports.
