Bravura Security Fabric review
Enterprise IAM that combines lifecycle governance, SSO, MFA and credential vaulting.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
Bravura Security Fabric brings identity governance and administration together with privileged access management, SSO, password management and passwordless capabilities. Its feature set is aimed at enterprises that need to manage both workforce identities and privileged credentials. Account lifecycle actions include creating, modifying, disabling and deleting accounts; users can request access through a self-service or delegated portal, with configurable approvals and automated or manual fulfillment. Access certifications, role-based controls and separation-of-duties policies address governance needs alongside those day-to-day actions.
The breadth is the central appeal: the platform also discovers and synchronizes accounts, including orphaned or dormant accounts, and provides SAML single sign-on as both an identity provider and service provider. MFA options include email or SMS PIN, the Bravura mobile app QR challenge and third-party tokens; listed category specifications also include Duo Verified Push, WebAuthn and passkeys. Integrations include Microsoft Active Directory, Cisco Duo, Okta, Microsoft Azure, Ping Identity and RSA Authentication Manager, with 120 integrations listed. Deployment is available in cloud or self-hosted environments, including hybrid deployments described by Bravura. This makes the product a fit for organizations seeking governance and authentication within the same system, though buyers should assess which parts of its broad scope they actually need.
According to the vendor's pricing page, purchasing is quote-based and licensing is volume-discounted. Subscription per User is available as SaaS or on-premises and requires a minimum three-year commitment. Perpetual per User grants a permanent right to use the licensed software, with fees based on the number of human users; Perpetual per System and Workstations is for Bravura Privilege only and is based on managed systems. Support channels include email, phone and documentation, with 24/7 support. Enterprises with combined governance and vaulting requirements may value the range of controls and deployment options; teams seeking simple, short-term or easily price-compared IAM may prefer a narrower offering.
