Our verdict on Boon Logo Maker
Boon Logo Maker is an iPhone-first logo and brand design app for small businesses, creators, shops, startups, and other non-designers. It combines AI logo generation with more than 10K editable templates and a broad set of fonts, symbols, shapes, icons, backgrounds, text effects, textures, and cutout tools. The app also includes a reusable My Assets library, brand kits for colors, fonts, and social templates, and exports PNG or JPEG files, including transparent PNGs up to 4096 × 4096. Its audience is primarily Apple-device users who want to develop logo concepts and related brand assets without starting from a blank canvas.
The subscription structure is straightforward but not free: Boon offers a 7-day free trial, followed by auto-renewing Pro Subscription Weekly, Pro Subscription Monthly, Pro Subscription 6-monthly, and Pro Subscription Annual plans. Each plan includes premium content and features. The published starting price is 4.99, while subscription prices may vary by country. Buyers should compare the billing period with their expected project timeline, especially if they need the app for a single branding project rather than ongoing design work.
Its strongest fit is an Apple-centered workflow. Auto-save and iCloud synchronization support continuity across iPhone, iPad, and Mac, while downloadable PDF mockups help present concepts and visualize applications. The combination of AI generation, editable templates, detailed editing resources, transparent raster export, and brand kits gives non-designers room to refine a concept beyond a single logo file. However, the platform focus rules out Android and browser-based workflows, and the documented export options do not extend to SVG or EPS. Choose Boon for template-led Apple logo creation and lightweight brand development; choose another tool for cross-platform access or vector-format production requirements.
