blitz.cloud is a hosted platform for running public Docker images, apps built from Git repositories, and managed databases. Its fit is clearest for solo users and small projects that want a cloud service for deploying containers without managing a host themselves. Deployments can come from Docker Hub, ghcr.io, Quay and other public registries, or from connected GitHub, GitLab, Codeberg, Gitea or Forgejo repositories. Git repository pushes can trigger new builds.

The free plan includes one managed database and HTTPS blitz.cloud addresses, but apps sleep after 30 minutes without visitors. Pro costs €7 per account per month, or €70 per account per year, and adds apps that stay awake, custom domains, five databases and nightly copies of app files. Power costs €19 per account per month, or €190 per account per year; it includes Pro features plus more memory, storage, databases and apps. The free tier suits personal projects where sleeping apps are acceptable; paid plans are relevant when a service needs to stay awake or use a custom domain.

Deployment features include persistent folders for Docker image volumes across restarts, encrypted environment variables, health checks and live logs. Automatic updates for moving image tags include rollback if startup fails, while managed PostgreSQL, MariaDB and Redis can be connected to apps. The platform currently has one EU data centre, so teams that need a choice of deployment regions should consider another host. Email and documentation are the stated support channels. Choose blitz.cloud for a small deployment that benefits from its registry and Git workflows and managed services; look elsewhere if sleeping on Free or a single data centre does not fit your requirements.
