Our verdict on BeFunky
BeFunky is an online photo editor and creative platform for people who need photo adjustments, collages, and graphic design in a web browser or on iOS and Android. Its feature set suits casual editors, content creators, and small creative workflows that benefit from templates, effects, portrait touch-up, AI editing, and access across supported devices. The Free plan covers basic photo editing, limited design templates and assets, and export without a subscription.
Pricing is structured around Free, Plus, and Pro. Plus costs $6.99 per month when billed annually and adds premium editing and design tools, advanced AI editing controls, and basic bulk editing. Pro includes AI-powered batch tools, batch background removal, 5,000 Batch AI credits per month, and priority image processing and support. BeFunky also connects with Google Drive, Google Photos, Dropbox, Pixabay, and Pexels, giving users access to cloud files and stock imagery within a broader creative workflow. Projects and images can be saved to BeFunky for access across supported devices when signed in.
Its strongest distinction is breadth: users can combine conventional adjustments with photo-to-art transformations, AI Portrait Enhancer, background removal, unwanted-object erasing, text-prompt editing, editable layers, opacity and blend modes, duplication, and clipping masks. Batch editing extends the service beyond one-image-at-a-time work, while Pro adds more specialized batch automation. The trade-off is that RAW support is not included, so photographers working with RAW files should choose a tool built around that format. BeFunky is a good fit for accessible web and mobile editing with AI and design features; users needing RAW workflows should look elsewhere.
