Our verdict on BEAMS
BEAMS is an integrated construction platform from Burran Constructions Pty Ltd for Australian builders and contractors. It combines estimating, CRM, construction management, accounting, payroll, progress claims, job costing and financial reporting. Cloud access, a Windows desktop application and a mobile companion app support office and site workflows. The accounting side includes general-ledger reports, profit and loss, balance sheets, trial balances, work-in-progress reporting, cash-flow reporting, bank reconciliation and BAS reporting.
BEAMS is a paid product with no free plan and a 30-day free trial. Published module prices range from AUD 10 to AUD 150 per month excluding GST. Beams Companion provides site diaries, photo capture, field timesheets and office synchronisation; Beams CRM covers leads, contacts, quotes and follow-ups; Beams Cloud adds real-time collaboration, on-site progress management and universal device compatibility; Beams Desktop provides offline estimating, advanced financial reporting and local data storage.
