Our verdict on Beacons
Beacons is a link-in-bio platform aimed at creators who need more than a simple list of links. Its block-based editor supports product blocks, email signup forms and media kits, with videos, store rows and text sections arranged in flexible order. The free plan includes those business-oriented elements, an unusual combination among simpler link-page tools. Beacons also includes an AI assistant for drafting bios and product copy, giving creators a starting point they can refine.
The main trade-off is complexity. A page that needs only six links may require more decisions than a simpler Linktree page because each element is handled as a configurable module. According to the published plans, both the free plan and the entry Creator plan take a 9% cut of sales. That may suit beginners who want to start selling without an upfront cost, but it becomes more expensive as sales volume grows. Creator Plus removes the fee, reducing the cost of transactions, and adds advanced analytics.
Choose Beacons if your link page also needs to support products, email collection, media assets or other creator-business functions. It is especially relevant for creators who sell directly through their profile and can benefit from flexible content blocks.
