BatchGeo review
A focused choice for turning spreadsheets into shareable maps and planned routes.

BatchGeo converts spreadsheets, addresses, coordinates, and other location data into interactive Google Maps. It is suited to businesses and teams handling sales territories, real estate listings, store locations, deliveries, and other geographic datasets. Its core workflow covers geocoding, marker customization, grouping, filtering, clustering, heat maps, multi-stop route optimization, and website embedding through iframe code. Maps can be public, unlisted, or password-protected, while mobile-responsive layouts support GPS location features on web, iOS, and Android.
The plan structure starts with a Free tier for creating interactive maps and basic data selection. Lite adds 15,000 markers per map, three included users, 10-point route optimization, password protection, heat maps, and monthly allowances of 5,000 views and 50,000 markers. Pro expands capacity to 100,000 markers per map and 10 included users, with 25-point route optimization, Street View integration, PDF, PNG, and KML export, plus monthly allowances of 25,000 views and 250,000 markers. Paid plans therefore matter most when teams need collaboration, larger datasets, route planning, protection, exports, or higher usage limits.
BatchGeo fits organizations that want a spreadsheet-led mapping workflow without building a mapping application. Google Maps, Excel, and Google Sheets support a familiar ecosystem, and two-factor authentication adds an account-security control. The product remains focused rather than serving as a broader developer platform: data refresh is manual, API access is unavailable, and custom branding is not supported. Teams needing automated synchronization, programmatic integration, or branded map experiences should consider another tool. For practical map creation, route planning, and embeddable geographic visualization, BatchGeo is the stronger fit when spreadsheet input is central.
