Baidu EasyDAP is a data lake management and analytics platform for enterprises and teams building governed data environments. It combines lake storage management for BOS and HDFS with metadata management, batch and streaming ingestion, visual integration pipelines, interactive SQL, governance, and data services. Its hybrid deployment model supports web and API access, with both SaaS delivery and a private-deployment option for enterprise networks. It is suited to organizations bringing together heterogeneous operational, warehouse, NoSQL, and object-storage data.
Pricing is paid and edition-based. The Experience Edition is intended for personal developers and partial data-platform validation, combining data integration, development, data lake management, and analytics capabilities. The Standard Edition targets small teams starting data lake projects, with big-data integration, development, and service capabilities in its fuller description. The Professional Edition is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises and adds governance and data-security capabilities. The published starting price is CNY 2,000, while edition fees are separated from usage-based resource charges. EasyDAP’s main distinction is breadth across the data lifecycle. It supports scheduled batch synchronization across databases, MPP warehouses, NoSQL, object storage, and HDFS, alongside HTTP and Kafka stream ingestion. Its integration coverage includes BOS, HDFS, BMR, PALO, RDS, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Hana, PostgreSQL, Doris, and Greenplum. Federated analysis spans RDS, PALO, BMR-HBase, BOS, BMR-Hive, and BMR-HDFS, while governance covers quality, lineage, standards, permissions, and audits. Choose EasyDAP when one platform must coordinate diverse sources and governed services; choose an alternative if a permanently free option or simpler pricing structure is essential.
