Backbar is a beverage-management platform for bars, restaurants and other hospitality businesses. It brings inventory counting, purchasing, invoice handling, product-cost tracking and drink recipe costing into one system. Teams can work through web access or mobile apps for iOS and Android, while supported point-of-sale connections tie inventory depletion and sales tracking to operational reports. Its broad feature set suits small bars that want more than simple stock counts.
Pricing is organized by location. The Basic plan costs $0 per location per month and includes inventory management, a recipe builder limited to 10 recipes and email support. Essential costs $99 per location per month when billed monthly or $79 annually, adding enhanced drink and recipe costing, usage, comparison and trend reports, plus unlimited recipes. Professional costs $149 monthly or $129 annually per location, adding automatic invoice entry, suggested par levels and cost variance alerts. A 30-day free trial is also available, making the free and paid tiers easy to compare before committing.
