Axway SecureTransport is an enterprise managed file transfer gateway for organizations exchanging critical business data across applications, systems, business units, and trading partners. It combines multi-protocol transfer support with centralized and delegated administration, monitoring, governance, and encryption throughout the transfer lifecycle. Its deployment options cover on-premises, cloud, hybrid, and managed-service models, making it suitable for organizations with varied infrastructure requirements and mission-critical transfer workloads.

Protocol breadth is a central strength. SecureTransport supports FTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, AS2, and PeSIT, while enterprise clustering and high availability address environments where continuity matters. Guaranteed delivery and file-transfer acceleration extend the product beyond basic file exchange. Audit trails, reporting, alerting, and transfer tracking provide operational visibility, and REST APIs support administration and end-user transfer management. The product also offers AI operations access through an MCP server, alongside workflow automation and API access capabilities.

The published Managed File Transfer plan includes Axway MFT, support for all available protocols, and unlimited production, non-production, and disaster recovery environments. According to the vendor's pricing information, SecureTransport uses contact-sales pricing, and the plan lists a 25,000-transfer monthly minimum. There is no free plan. Organizations seeking highly available, governed transfers across multiple protocols and deployment models should consider SecureTransport. Teams needing a simpler, narrowly focused transfer utility or a self-service free option should look elsewhere.
