Our verdict on Awtomic
Awtomic is a Shopify application for selling and managing recurring products, memberships, bundles, build-a-box offers, and gift subscriptions. It is aimed at Shopify merchants in areas such as wine clubs, food and beverage, beauty, apparel, and other direct-to-consumer businesses. Its feature set covers configurable renewal frequencies and discounts, customer self-service, prepaid billing, failed-payment recovery, analytics, add-ons, and lifecycle notifications across SMS and email.
Pricing is structured around Professional and Enterprise. Professional costs $299 per month with monthly billing or $249 per month with annual billing. Annual pricing requires a minimum one-year contract but is billed monthly. Awtomic also charges a 1% per-order transaction fee, and the published terms state that payments are non-refundable except where expressly stated or required by law. Enterprise uses volume-based pricing and adds top-tier support and custom integrations. A 14-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan.
The Shopify fit is central: Awtomic supports Shopify Checkout, Shopify POS, and Shopify Flow, alongside Klaviyo, Gorgias, Attentive, Kustomer, Peel Analytics, HubSpot, Postscript, and ShipCompliant.
