Auslogics File Recovery is Windows data-recovery software for restoring deleted files from hard drives, USB storage, memory cards, floppy drives, and lost or reallocated partitions. It supports Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, and 11, with recovery across NTFS, FAT16/32, and exFAT file systems. Its audience is people who need a straightforward way to search for recoverable files on common internal and removable storage, particularly when filtering and previews are important.
The published plans use a freemium structure. The Free plan includes full search and partial recovery. The Pro plan adds a 3 PC license, recovery for files of any size or type, app recovery, file shredding, and image, video, audio, and document recovery filters. That makes the free edition suitable for locating files and handling limited recovery, while Pro is aimed at broader recovery needs and additional file-management controls. The product also supports disk image creation and opening, which can help organize recovery work around an image rather than the original storage device.
Its feature set covers more than basic deletion recovery: users can scan common drives and cards, recover lost partitions, preview supported files, wipe free space, and shred files. The focus remains narrow, however. It is Windows-only and targets recovery from supported local storage and removable media rather than RAID or bootable recovery workflows. Choose Auslogics File Recovery for basic Windows recovery with file filtering, previews, and partition support. Choose another tool when your environment depends on a different operating system or requires specialized RAID or bootable recovery capabilities.
