Audirvāna is audio playback software for music enthusiasts and professionals who manage local libraries across computers, servers or NAS devices. It supports Windows, macOS and Linux, with a separate Remote app for iOS and Android. Studio combines local playback with integrated streaming services, radio and podcasts, while Origin focuses on local music libraries. High-resolution playback, upsampling, library browsing and device connectivity make it suited to listeners who want more control over audio processing than a basic media player provides.

The paid options cover different listening needs. Studio Classic costs $7.99 per month and includes full Studio access, integrated streaming content services, the free smartphone Remote app and no time commitment. Studio Access costs $79.99 per year and adds an extended free trial for Qobuz alongside the Studio features. Origin costs $149.99 one time, includes a license without time limit, has no library size limitation and supports local library playback. A 30-day free trial is available, and the published plan details show no free plan. The Signal Processing Suite lists a 10-band EQ, convolution engine, crossfeed and output balance with gain and delay.

Platform and ecosystem support are central to Audirvāna’s appeal. It connects with Qobuz, TIDAL and Presto Music, and supports UPnP/DLNA and Chromecast Audio for network playback. NAS and server installation extend its use beyond a single desktop, while the Remote app provides mobile control. Format support includes FLAC, Ogg FLAC, ALAC, AIFF, WAV, APE, WavPack, AAC, MP3, DSF, DFF, ISO, CUE and MQA. Choose Audirvāna for high-resolution processing, library management and network playback across supported platforms. Choose another media player if you need a free plan or primarily want a simple local player without paid access.
