Atom is a domain registrar and premium domain marketplace for startups, businesses, domain investors, and enterprises. Buyers can browse curated domains, purchase them outright or through payment plans, submit offers, and receive transfer assistance. Sellers can use fixed-price or offer-based sales, manage portfolios in bulk, and access marketplace distribution. The product is particularly suited to professional sellers that need automation, APIs, and multiple ways to bring domains to market.

Its seller plans differ mainly by commission and service level. Standard Listings have no listing fee, charge 7.5% when a domain sells, and include self-brokerage plus installment payment plans. Plus Listings also have no listing fee but charge 15% per sale, adding marketing, remarketing, and brokerage service. Premium Listings provide curated and approved placement, priority placement, and brokerage assistance, with commissions ranging from 15% to 30% depending on the sale price. Atom states a $100 one-time starting price for its minimum supported retail transaction; that figure is not a universal lowest listing price.

For larger portfolios and integrated workflows, Atom offers a REST API, MCP Protocol, webhooks, DNS API, daily CSV feeds, and connections through Google Sheets, Excel, and CSV. Its AI capabilities include domain appraisal, semantic search, and trademark screening APIs, while a white-label marketplace supports custom distribution. Automated transfers into an Atom-managed registrar account, lease-to-own options, and an offer center add operational depth. Choose Atom if you need marketplace breadth, bulk management, and API coverage; sellers seeking only a simple listing page or the lowest possible commission may prefer a narrower alternative.
