Our verdict on Astro Gold
Astro Gold brings chart creation, comparison and interpretation to desktop and mobile, with tools aimed at professional astrologers, students and astrology enthusiasts. It covers natal, transit, return, progressed, directed, relationship and composite charts, and can display single or multi-chart wheels, dials and aspect grids. Chart aspects and synastry support comparison work, while reports cover natal charts, transits, progressions, returns and synastry. Its breadth suits astrologers who need more than natal chart viewing, particularly those moving between forecasting, relationship analysis and multi-chart work.
The edition and pricing structure is worth weighing before choosing a platform. Astro Gold iOS Free includes core chart creation and viewing, natal and transit charts, and basic interpretations. Gold Level features on iOS cost $7.99 per month or $39.99 per year; a $69.99 one-time Lifetime Unlock is also offered. The Windows/macOS edition is a $249.99 one-time dual-platform license. According to the vendor's pricing page, these are distinct platform options, so the iOS purchase choices should not be read as desktop pricing.
