Asset Giant is a browser-based asset and equipment tracking platform for construction, trades, media, events, hire companies, schools and facilities teams. It keeps records for tools, vehicles and other equipment, including photos, specifications, documents, locations, assignments and history. QR labels, phone-camera scanning, check-in and check-out, bookings, stocktakes and inventory audits support day-to-day control. Quotes, invoices and hire charging also make it relevant to businesses that rent out equipment. Web access is available on desktop and mobile browsers, with no native app required.

Pricing is structured around four plans. Free Forever costs £0 and includes 100 assets, 1 user, 50 MB storage, 25 AI lookups per month and 1 custom field. Crew costs £19 GBP per month when billed monthly, increasing capacity to 500 assets, 3 users, 500 MB storage, 500 AI lookups and 10 custom fields. Business costs £79 GBP per month monthly and includes 5,000 assets, 10 users, 5,000 MB storage, 5,000 AI lookups and 50 custom fields. Enterprise provides unlimited assets, users, storage and AI lookups. The free tier gives small teams a clear starting point, while paid plans mainly add capacity and collaboration headroom.

Its strongest fit is a business that needs focused asset control rather than a broad integration ecosystem. AI asset identification, specification completion and inventory questions add depth, while CSV import and export help move inventory data in and out. Location, vehicle and van tracking extend the system beyond basic equipment lists. Integrations are limited to iCal calendar feeds and Stripe, and mobile access depends on a browser rather than a native app. Choose Asset Giant for straightforward QR-led tracking, reservations and hire operations; consider an alternative if extensive integrations, native mobile apps or deeper barcode capabilities are central requirements.
