ASPRunner.NET is a Windows desktop low-code application builder for creating ASP.NET web applications from database sources. It suits teams that need database-backed forms, search pages, reports, charts, dashboards, authentication and permissions without starting every page from scratch. Its visual WYSIWYG Page Designer supports drag-and-drop layout editing, while event-based customization allows application logic in C# or other supported code. Built-in AI assistance is available for event and application logic code, giving teams another way to work beyond visual configuration.

The product has two editions. ASPRunner.NET Professional covers core ASP.NET application generation and customization. ASPRunner.NET Enterprise Edition adds an online report and chart builder, multiple database and REST API connections, data encryption, and support for Active Directory, AzureAD, Okta, SAML and OpenID. A 21-day trial provides an evaluation period, while the published purchase model is paid and priced for a single developer. Teams should compare the edition boundaries carefully if identity providers, encryption or multiple connections are central to the project.

ASPRunner.NET fits environments built around databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2/iSeries, Informix, SQLite and ODBC. Its SQL editor supports visual query editing, joins and result previews, and its built-in web server supports local application preview. The FTP client can upload generated ASP.NET pages to web servers. Authentication, user groups, permissions and dynamic permissions support controlled access, while application templates and master-detail relationships address common database application structures. It is a strong match for teams committed to ASP.NET and visual generation; teams seeking a general-purpose, cross-platform IDE or an open-source tool should choose an alternative.
