ASN Active Directory Manager is a Windows desktop application for IT administrators managing Microsoft Active Directory. It focuses on bulk administration: teams can create users and other AD objects through CSV import, auto-indexing, group or container selection, or individual entry. It also supports bulk modification, password resets, account unlocks, account status changes, object moves, deletion, restoration, group membership changes, and protection from accidental deletion. The product is suited to administrators who need repeatable operations across users, groups, computers, OUs, GPOs, and related objects.

The main strength is the breadth of its administrative and reporting functions. More than 130 built-in Active Directory reports can be exported to CSV, PDF, Excel, Word, and HTML. The integrations with Active Directory Domain Services, Microsoft Exchange Server, and Microsoft Entra ID make it relevant for Microsoft-focused environments. Standard includes single-domain support, bulk creation and modification, email notifications, the full report library, and one year of support. Professional adds unlimited domains, Exchange reports, and scheduled report exports.

Pricing is a significant consideration. Standard is listed at $495 and Professional at $895, with both described as one-time licenses with annual billing. A 14-day trial is available, limited to two records per action, alongside a separate 7-day fully featured evaluation license. ASN Active Directory Manager is a strong fit for Windows-based teams that regularly perform bulk AD operations or need extensive exports. Teams managing multiple domains or requiring scheduled reporting should consider Professional. Organizations seeking delegated administration, change auditing, lifecycle workflow automation, or end-user password self-service should look for a product that explicitly provides those capabilities.
