Asili ERP review
A structured Kenyan retail ERP for multi-outlet operations and financial control.

Asili ERP brings retail point of sale, inventory, purchasing, accounting, payments, payroll and tax compliance into one Kenya-focused business management platform. It is aimed at retailers and other multi-location businesses that need shared ledgers, outlet-level stock visibility, inter-branch transfers and head-office reporting. Single shops can use the Duka plan, while larger operations have Growth and Enterprise tiers for broader financial, operational and onboarding needs.
Pricing begins with Duka at KES 4,999 per month. That plan includes Express POS with eTIMS receipts, inventory and reorder alerts, M-Pesa, cash and card tenders, plus daily sales and cashup reports. Growth adds full accounting and payroll, multi-branch stock and transfers, credit control and collections, and approval workflows. Enterprise adds industry verticals and custom modules, dedicated onboarding and data migration, and priority support. The published plans show a clear progression from front-counter retail controls to wider finance, governance and implementation support.
Its strongest fit is for businesses that want operational and accounting workflows connected rather than managed in separate tools. Purchase orders, RFQs, goods received and three-way matching support purchasing control, while cashups, split tenders and payment reconciliation address daily retail finance. Retail pricing, promotions and shrinkage tracking add category-specific coverage, with M-Pesa, WhatsApp and email integrations. The trade-offs are equally clear: Asili ERP is web-only, starts at a meaningful monthly cost, and does not offer a free plan. Choose it when Kenyan compliance, multi-outlet control and structured approvals matter; consider another option if mobile access or a free entry tier is essential.
