Our verdict on Array
Array is a cloud-based field operations platform for retail organizations managing store audits, compliance checks, inventory and merchandising workflows, task assignments, reporting, and team communications. Teams can build mobile-ready forms and repeatable checklists, capture photos and other evidence, assign corrective actions, monitor performance through dashboards, and collect data offline. Its web, iOS, Android, and API availability suits organizations coordinating multiple stores, regional teams, and enterprise-scale operational workflows.
Pricing is structured across three plans. Essential costs $30 per user per month when billed annually and includes an advanced form builder, document builder, email and document PDF automation, user and team permissions, and 1GB of storage. Pro costs $40 per user per month with annual billing and adds unlimited submissions, a workflow builder, files management, tasks, Workstation, MFA security, and SOC 2. Enterprise uses volume-based discounts and adds development support, customer dashboards and workflows, API and webhook access, custom integrations, and Buck AI. A 30-day trial is available, while the product does not offer a free plan.
Array’s main distinction is the breadth of its operational toolkit and ecosystem fit. Alongside audits and evidence capture, it supports frontline requests, team communications, reminders, document automation, dashboards, reports, and performance trends. Integrations include Salesforce, Stripe, Twilio, Google Calendar, Gmail, Outlook, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, Microsoft SharePoint, Procore, Zapier, and the Array API. Choose Array if audit workflows need to connect with broader business systems and include follow-up actions. Teams seeking a narrower audit tool or a free starting tier should consider alternatives with a simpler scope or lower entry cost.
