Ark is a web- and API-based fund operations platform for private equity, venture capital, real estate, private credit, fund-of-funds managers, and fund administrators. It brings together a fund-specific general ledger, financial reporting, investor portals, capital calls, distributions, capital accounts, allocation waterfalls, portfolio tracking, fundraising data rooms, and reconciliation. Its investor portal includes branded dashboards, interactive reporting, document management, investor communications, and multifactor authentication, giving managers a central place to share information with investors.
The platform’s strongest fit is for teams that need configurable reporting across LP, fund, and entity levels rather than a narrow accounting application. Ark supports investor allocations and automated capital account statements, while allocation waterfalls can be exported with Excel formulas. Portfolio investment and schedule-of-investments tracking extend the system beyond core ledger work. Integrations include Excel, fund bank accounts, and general ledgers through an API, so its ecosystem is oriented toward fund operations and connected financial workflows.
