Argus Monitor is Windows software for detailed PC hardware monitoring and configurable cooling control. It is aimed at desktop and notebook users who want visibility into temperatures, frequencies, power, fan speeds, storage health, and SMART attributes, along with control over supported motherboard, GPU, AIO, and external-controller fans. Its focus is cooling and telemetry rather than serving as a general-purpose CPU or memory overclocking suite.
Its strongest area is hardware coverage for cooling management. Users can set manual fan speeds or temperature-based curves using multiple hardware temperature sources, while monitoring CPU temperature, core frequency, multiplier, and power. GPU monitoring covers temperature, load, frequency, fan speed, and memory usage. Compatibility includes Nvidia, AMD, and Intel GPUs, plus Corsair Commander devices, Corsair liquid coolers, NZXT Smart Device, NZXT Grid+ V3, NZXT Kraken coolers, and EVGA CLC. Temperature and data-integrity warnings add useful oversight for systems where cooling behavior and storage health matter.
Pricing is organized around update-maintenance periods. The 1-year license costs $16.45 and includes updates to new releases for 1 year and two concurrent installations. The 3-year license costs $35.95 with updates for 3 years and the same installation allowance. Renewal options cost $11.95 for 1 year or $24.95 for 3 years, each at a reduced price for update maintenance. A 30-day trial is available. Argus Monitor fits buyers prioritizing paid, multi-vendor fan control and telemetry; users seeking verified CPU tuning, RAM tuning, or automated overclocking should choose a more specialized alternative.
