Our verdict on Archipelago Presets
Archipelago Presets is a downloadable library of Lightroom presets, profiles, workflows, tools, and LUTs for photographers working across weddings, portraits, and natural-light photography. It supports Lightroom Classic, Lightroom CC, Lightroom Mobile, Photoshop, and Adobe Camera Raw, with dedicated mobile versions available for some collections. The catalog also includes Imagen AI profiles for automated gallery editing, making it a fit for professionals who want both creative presets and workflow-oriented tools across Adobe applications.
The published plans show one-time pricing of $80 for Portrait Toolset LR/ACR, $120 for Lightroom Presets, and $198 for Lightroom Workflow. The Workflow package includes over 50 specialized tools in Eternal and over 60 specialized tools in Kin, and is available for desktop only. Society Membership costs $15 per year and adds member pricing, early access, and member giveaways; it is a discount membership rather than a preset subscription. Digital delivery keeps purchases focused on downloadable products, while the catalog’s breadth lets buyers choose between individual preset collections and more extensive workflow packages.
Its strongest fit is a professional Adobe-based workflow that benefits from adaptive masking, scene-aware enhancement, specialized tools, and Imagen AI profiles. Support for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android broadens the surrounding device coverage, although installation requirements vary: some collections offer dedicated mobile installation, while others require desktop installation before syncing to mobile. Buyers seeking a focused preset pack may find the broader workflow catalog more than they need, and the upfront pricing makes Archipelago better suited to photographers who expect to use advanced editing resources repeatedly.
