APS Payroll is a cloud-based payroll and human capital management platform for small and mid-sized organizations, including restaurants and hospitality businesses. Its restaurant-focused capabilities include tip credits, weighted overtime, multiple job rates, tip-to-minimum calculations, and POS integrations that can import hours, tips, and deductions. The platform also provides employee and manager self-service, payroll reporting, mobile access, and payroll processing in all 50 states.
Pricing is organized into three monthly plans charged per employee. Payroll costs $6 per employee per month and includes tax filings and payments, direct deposit and paycards, configurable incomes and deductions, error checking, alerts, integrations, and automated exports. Payroll + Attendance costs $10 per employee per month and adds scheduling, geofencing, mobile and desktop time capture, overtime and break calculations, and time-off management. Payroll + HR + Attendance costs $14 per employee per month and adds recruiting, onboarding, screenings, e-signatures, benefits and COBRA administration, performance reviews, and training management.
Platform coverage includes web, iOS, Android, and an API. Integrations span restaurant, accounting, and timekeeping systems, including Restaurant365, QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, Toast, Aloha, FuturePOS, Lightspeed, and Revel POS. A developer REST API and enterprise integration platform support broader integration needs. Restaurants that need tip-aware payroll, tax filing, and connections to existing POS or accounting tools should consider APS Payroll. Businesses seeking only basic wage calculation may not need its attendance and HR tiers, while organizations wanting scheduling or employee management will need to move beyond the base plan.
