Aproove is workflow management software for organizations handling complex review and approval processes, including regulated teams in pharma, insurance, financial services, retail, agencies, and government. It connects intake and planning to review and final sign-off, with decision-based routing that can run linearly, in loops, or in parallel. Creative teams that need structured proofing and traceable approvals are its clearest fit; teams seeking lightweight task coordination may find its scope and price hard to justify.

Proofing and governance are central strengths. Online proofing supports more than 180 file types, with pixel-level review and automatic change detection. Immutable audit trails and electronic signatures support approval records. The Team plan includes up to four workflows and 1 TB of storage. Multi-Team adds unlimited workflows, metadata-driven routing and automation, custom intake forms and reporting, dynamic Gantt planning, resource management, REST and webhook API integrations, and governed AI agents for review preparation and risk detection. Enterprise adds custom workflows and integrations, native Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign and Photoshop integrations, SSO and SAML, and self-hosted, on-premises, or air-gapped deployment options.

According to the vendor's published pricing, Team costs $12,000 annually for five users, equivalent to a $200 per-user monthly starting rate with annual billing. Multi-Team costs $20,000 annually for five users; Enterprise pricing is custom. There is no free plan. That makes the entry tier a substantial commitment, especially for teams that need only basic workflow tracking rather than formal content review. Choose Aproove when proofing, routing, planning, and auditability need to work together; consider a general-purpose workflow product if those specialized controls are unnecessary.
