apPosture API Security is a self-hosted API security product for AppSec, development and security teams that need visibility across endpoint code, contracts and runtime activity. It inventories endpoints, assigns an A–F API risk grade, identifies toxic combinations involving public, sensitive and unauthenticated endpoints, and supports discovery of shadow and undocumented APIs. Deployment options include web, Linux, API and self-hosted environments, with positioning for regulated and air-gapped environments.

Pricing is organized around two annual per-developer plans. Platform costs $70 per developer per month and includes API security, DAST with 5 target URLs, cloud posture, ASPM correlation, SSO and SCIM, plus 8×5 priority support. Enterprise costs $90 per developer per month and adds 10 target URLs, Agentic Pentest, Threat Modeling, RBAC, multi-tenant capabilities and 24×7 support with SLA. The API Security add-on costs $15 per developer per month annually and includes OWASP API Top 10 coverage, schema drift and runtime inventory. A 30-day free trial is available.

The strongest fit is for teams that want API posture management tied to development workflows. Code-to-runtime provenance, contract comparison, gateway or WAF access-log correlation, CI score gates and SARIF export connect inventory findings with engineering processes. Integrations include GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Jira, ServiceNow, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure and GCP. Teams specifically seeking verified runtime protection should choose a product that provides that capability instead; apPosture API Security focuses on discovery, posture, governance and correlation rather than runtime blocking.
